By using Inkriel (inkrielstudios.com) you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Who we are
Inkriel is a creator platform for planning, producing, publishing, and reading serial stories. Inkriel Studio is the tool workspace (webtoon and serial production). Inkriel Stories is discovery, reading, and publishing. Image tools can be used without an account. Publishing, usernames, Episode Planner, and Character Database need a free account.
2. Age
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. Do not publish sexual content involving anyone 17 or under.
3. Accounts
You may sign in with Google, X (when enabled), or email and password. Keep your login safe. Use details that are yours. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. You may ask us to delete your account and personal profile data; unpublished or public chapters may need to be removed first.
4. Your stories (creator terms)
You keep the copyright in work you write or upload. By publishing on Inkriel you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and promote that public work on the site (covers, titles, chapters, public username) so readers can find and read it. You confirm the work is yours or you have the right to post it. Do not post stolen novels, plagiarised chapters, or work you do not have permission to share. You can unpublish or delete serials. Backups may remain for a short time. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or the law.
5. Community and content rules
Do not post illegal content, malware, or spam; harass, impersonate, or dox others; scrape or copy other writers’ chapters from the reader to republish elsewhere; attack the site or other accounts; or use Inkriel to sell pirated books. We may remove content or ban accounts if we believe these rules are broken.
6. Copyright and takedown
If you believe material on Inkriel infringes your copyright, submit a notice on the Contact page (topic: Copyright / takedown) with: your contact details, a description of the work, the URL on Inkriel, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised, and a statement that the information is accurate. We may remove the material and, in repeat cases, the account.
7. Reading and the app
Reading published stories is free unless we clearly label a paid product. The reader may block copying of chapter text as a courtesy to writers — it is not a guarantee. Installing Inkriel on your home screen does not give you extra rights in anyone’s work. Sample or demonstration stories may appear in the catalogue and are labelled as such.
8. Money, tips, Patreon, and refunds
Creators may add a public Patreon URL. Clicking that link takes readers to Patreon, a third-party website. Patreon memberships and payments are governed by Patreon’s terms and policies. Inkriel does not process, receive, control, or guarantee Patreon payments, and is not responsible for Patreon billing, cancellations, refunds, benefits, or creator payouts. Adding a Patreon link does not prove that Inkriel has verified ownership of that page. Creators must only link a page they own or have permission to promote. Inkriel may remove deceptive, fraudulent, or unsafe external links. Inkriel does not take a percentage of external Patreon payments. Native Inkriel card tips are not in operation; you will not be charged on Inkriel for tips until we say otherwise in writing.
9. The site as-is
Inkriel is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted service, search ranking, traffic, or earnings. Sample titles may appear in the catalogue and are labelled. Rankings are not live until we say they are.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Inkriel is not liable for lost drafts, lost demo balances, or what other users post. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
